SDCKC Coronavirus 19 Prevention Protocol No.2
Dear fellow San Diego Calvary Korean Church members,
On March 13th, President Trump declared National Emergency due to Coronavirus Outbreak. Because of the unpredictable and uncontainable spread of the virus; we are currently facing an unprecedented circumstance. Due to the virus outbreak, San Diego Calvary Korean Church is implementing an emergency virus prevention protocol. During this trying time, let’s unite in solidarity and we sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding.
1. All things are in God’s Hands
In the scripture, ‘God commands us to pray in times of epidemic (2 Chronicles 7:13-14)’ Let’s fast and pray together as a congregation for the end of these difficult times.
2. The service is too essential to the fabric of our church and our spiritual life; however, due to the tremendous danger of large gatherings and its potential danger to the health of our members, the church has decided on these following protocols.
Until March 29th, the Sunday Service will be live-streamed online according to its regularly scheduled services.
(1st Service-8:00 AM, 2nd Service – 9:30 AM, 3rd Service – 11:30 AM)

Until March 29th, both 2nd and 3rd Service Choirs will not be serving in the service. As for praise and media team, a very small number of volunteers to operate the service will be serving. All Education Services will be shown online.

3. Prayers should Never Cease
Due to the County and State Executive orders regarding gatherings, there won’t be any weekday ministry meetings. However, Early Morning Services will still go on as scheduled to pray for the ending of this difficult time and virus outbreak. Our Friday Night Services will be attended through Online ServicePlease pray every day and Night with our shared SDCKC Group Prayer topics. If you are in Self-Quarantine or under a dire situation, please contact your cell-group leader and the assigned pastor for your region.
4. All Ministry, volunteer and Fellowship meetings are suspended until a further update from the Government.

For protocols after March 29th, The Elders will watch and assess the situation throughout the coming days and will announce further appropriate and necessary measures. Until the new update, we sincerely ask our members to please heart, adhere and follow the church’s appropriate actions.
